This vintage silver napkin ring was hallmarked in Sheffield in 1935 by Viner's of Bath St. This year is notable for the Silver Jubilee celebrations of George V, and the driving test becoming compulsory.
It is still in excellent condition. It has an unusual, quite masculine design, with a smart engine turned design all the way around and the letters T J engraved on the front. Just imagine the dinner tables it has graced in its time....
