An attractive vintage silver bangle with a finely engraved  foliate scroll pattern on one half, a high polished finish on the other and an edge border design.

It was hallmarked and made in Birmingham's historic Jewellery Quarter by E Lilley & Co in 1960.

A wonderful way to add a bit of history to your jewellery collection. Imagine, 1960, the year The Beatles performed their first concert under this name in Hamburg, the first traffic wardens were deployed in London and the first episode of Coronation Street was aired on TV! It would make a thoughtful gift for anyone born in 1960.

It is hinged, has a strong safe catch, with the addition of a safety chain. It is oval in shape, measuring 6 cm by 5.2cm (inner measurements) and is 1.8 cm wide. It weighs 27.5g.

It is in excellent condition, the engraving is particularly bright and crisp.
