We accept payment by PAY PAL, G Pay, ApplePay and major credit card companies. 

Delivery policy.

We only deliver to the United Kingdom.

Items are sent using Royal Mail Delivery Services. Many will require a signature on delivery. If you are not home they will leave you a card informing you where you can collect it from. Alternatively we can deliver to your work place or a neighbour's house.

Delivery Costs

For Orders under £10.00

Royal Mail First Class       £1.95.

Next Day Delivery (Order by midday) Not available for weekend deliveries                          £6.85

For Orders over £10.00

Royal Mail Second Class ( 2 - 5 days delivery )          FREE

Royal Mail First Class signed for ( 1 - 2 days delivery ) £3.00

Guaranteed Next Day Delivery (order by midday) not available for weekend deliveries                                                       £5.00

Single Jewellery items selling for over £100 will be sent using Royal Mail Special Delivery. Please chose Free postage and we will upgrade.

Some large, heavy or bulky items, such as framed prints, will incur a charge for delivery. Details are in the product description.

Next Day orders placed on a Friday are delivered on a Monday and Next Day orders placed on Saturday or Sunday are delivered on the following Tuesday. Next day orders placed on a Bank Holiday Monday will be delivered the following Wednesday. Please note that all Next Day orders require a signature upon delivery.

If we receive an order on our website before 2pm we aim to despatch the order the same day.

We cannot guarantee a Saturday delivery so we suggest you allow an extra couple of days over the weekend.

If an item is lost in transit, please allow 15 days before it can be officially classed as lost. This meets the terms and conditions set out by Royal Mail. If you think an item may be lost, please contact us via email at smithsoniashop@gmail.com  and we will do our best to assist you. After 15 days we can report the item lost. 

We will make every effort to deliver within the time stated on Smithsonia.co.uk but we will not be held liable for any loss caused to you by late delivery.

Please provide an address where someone can accept the delivery. If we have to try again you'll be charged again.

 

 

Returns policy.

We operate a 100% money back guarantee within 14 days from the date of delivery, if you change your mind. We ask that you notify us by email, on smithsoniashop@gmail.com, and we will advise you of the return address. Return the item to us, unused and in its original packaging. Any delivery charge on the original purchase will not be reimbursed.

We recommend you use a signed for delivery for returning goods. If this is not used we cannot accept responsibility for any returns sent.

For hygiene reasons we regret that earrings for pierced ears are non returnable.

Any problem with goods that arrived damaged must be reported within 24 hours of its delivery to you. 

Please note that, at our discretion, we are under no obligation to refund or repair accidental or intentional damage incurred to any item once it is in the buyers possession.
