A wide vintage silver bangle with a beautifully engraved foliate scroll pattern on one half, a high polished finish on the other, and an edged design.

It was hallmarked in Birmingham in 1959 by E. Lilley & Co of Great Hampton Street in Birmingham's historic Jewellery Quarter.  It is a fine example of the skills of design and manufacturing of "The City Of a Thousand Trades".

Wear a little bit of history on your wrist- imagine, 1959, the year The British Motoring Corporation built the first Mini, and the first section of the M1 was opened.

It has a strong safe catch with the addition of a safety chain. It is oval in shape, its internal measurements are 6.2 cm by 5.5 cm, and is 2.8 cm wide.  It weighs 45.1g.

Full clear Hallmark for Sterling Silver and in very good condition.
