This very unusual Art Nouveau Style napkin ring is not only of a stunning design perfectly in tune with its period, it is in near perfect condition, and comes in its own original little box. It was hallmarked in Chester in 1906 for Henry Newton Veitch.
What history it has seen - in 1906, Suffragettes disrupted the state opening of Parliament, and the Piccadilly Line of the London Underground was opened.
Just imagine the elegant dinner parties it has been present at in its time.....

It is overall round in shape and has lovely embellishments of sinuous flowing lines and organic motifs. It measures 3.5 cm high and 4.9 cm wide, and weighs 29.2g. It has a lovely clear hallmark and is in near perfect condition. The original presentation box has a small amount of wear.
