This stylish brooch was made and hallmarked in Glasgow in 1990. The design was inspired by the work of Arts and Crafts designer and architect Charles Rennie Mackintosh. This particular piece was inspired by his interior designs for 14, Kingsborough Gardens, incorporating an abstracted figure of a woman and a stylised rose motif.

This brooch was made by Carrick Jewellery, Glasgow. It is in great condition and measures 5 cm tall and 2.5 cm at its widest, with a good locking catch on the back.
