A pretty and delicate bronze sculpture of wild strawberries which somehow manages to transport us back to the long warm summer days of our childhoods .
Designed by Keith Sherwin who was born in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, the home of the Potteries. He trained as a ceramic artist, with world renowned company, Royal Doulton. He is a self taught wildlife sculptor whose aim is to observe nature and its beauty, to capture one moment in time and share it via his work.
The strawberries are made from solid foundry bronze, with a hand finished patina, giving subtle colours, The fruits, flowers and leaves have been delicately hand painted with artist's oils and sealed with a protective varnish.
It is a limited edition sculpture - number 33 of 150.
It stands 4 cm tall, 13 cm wide, 9 cm deep and weighs approximately 130g.
Each piece comes beautifully boxed with a certificate of authenticity. The certificate also includes information about the artist and the edition number .
