This is an enchanting and quality sculpture of a pet cat - sitting proudly in her collar.
It is easy to see why Michael's sculptures are so popular, he has a keen eye for the form and character of the animal he is modelling, be it a pretty cat or a Cockapoo. Michael studied in Staffordshire and was inspired by the traditions of pottery in Stoke on Trent. As a result of this he sometimes works in clay for his initial modelling, unlike most bronze artists who always use wax.
The cat is made from solid foundry bronze, with a hand finished patina.
She is a limited edition piece Number 114 of 150.

She stands (or sits!) 6 cm tall, is 5.5 cm wide, and weighs about 210g.
Each piece comes beautifully boxed with a certificate of authenticity. The certificate also includes information about the artist and the edition number .
