This antique silver spoon was hallmarked in Sheffield, by Fenton Brothers of South Moor Works, in 1906, during the reign of Edward VII. The same year that the Piccadilly Line opened on Londen Underground, the Suffragettes disrupted the State Opening of Parliament and there was a heat wave.
It is beautifully engraved and would make any afternoon tea a special occasion.
