It is easy to see why Michael's sculptures are so popular, he has a keen eye for the form and character of the animal he is modelling, be it a cute mouse or a Cockapoo. Michael studied in Staffordshire and was inspired by the traditions of pottery in Stoke on Trent. As a result of this he sometimes works in clay for his initial modelling, unlike most bronze artists who always use wax.
The mouse is made from solid foundry bronze, with a hand finished patina, giving subtle colours , particularly on the apple.
It is a signed limited edition sculpture - one of 350.
It stands 7.5cm tall and are 5cm wide.
Each piece comes beautifully boxed with a certificate of authenticity. The certificate also includes information about the artist and the edition number .
