I can't resist stroking a Cockerpoo when I meet one in the park, this sculpture makes me feel the same! This lovely bronze sculpture captures the character of this popular breed - fun-loving, energetic and friendly.
It is easy to see why Michael's sculptures are so popular, he has a keen eye for the form and character of the animal he is modelling, be it wildlife or a Cockerpoo. Michael studied in Staffordshire and was inspired by the traditions of pottery in Stoke on Trent. As a result of this he sometimes works in clay for his initial modelling, unlike most bronze artists who always use wax.
This is a limited edition piece - one of 250
Each piece comes beautifully boxed with a certificate of authenticity. The certificate also includes information about the artist and the edition number .
It is 5 cm at its tallest point and 6.2 cm long from tip of nose to tip of tail.
