This is an enchanting and quality sculpture of a pet cat - caught napping in the summer sunshine.
Designed by Michael Simpson who studied in Staffordshire and was inspired by the traditions of Stoke on Trent. As a result of this he works in clay for his initial modelling, unlike most bronze artists who use wax.
The cat is made from solid foundry bronze, with a hand finished patina.
She is a limited edition piece - one of 150.
She is 9cm long - from toe to toe - and weighs about 110g.
Each piece comes beautifully boxed with a certificate of authenticity. The certificate also includes information about the artist and the edition number .
