This stylish brooch was made circa 1990 in Glasgow by Carrick Jewellery, and bears their stamp. The design was inspired by the work of Arts and Crafts designer and architect Charles Rennie Mackintosh, particularly famous for The Glasgow School of Art. The brooch features two of his most well used motifs - the Glasgow rose and trellis.
A lovely gift for any aficionado of the Arts and Crafts Style, brooch wearer or vintage silver collector.
It is in excellent condition and measures 4.9 cm tall and 3.8 cm wide with a good locking catch on the back.
