The beads are faceted aquamarine and different shades of crystal. Aquamarine, once believed to be the treasure of mermaids, is said to both soothe and prolong relationships. It is the Birthstone for March.

The largest bead is 0.4 cm wide.
The necklace measures 41 cm plus an additional 5 cm of chain for when you need to wear it a little longer. It has a strong spring ring catch and is finished with a small aqaumarine bead.
