This lovely vintage scarf brooch would make a very attractive and useful addition to any jewellery box.
An exquisite example of the fine craftsmanship and inspired design of Ola Gore Jewellery. With its intricate interwoven lines, its roots are in the intriguing never-ending knots found in Celtic design.
For years Ola Gorie Jewellery have explored Celtic and Norse heritage to find inspiration for stylish, modern jewellery, hand crafted in Orkney. The brooch combines the domed Celtic pattern behind which a silk scarf can be threaded , with a locking brooch pin to keep the scarf neatly and securely in place.
Created in sterling silver, and stamped with an Edinburgh hallmark for 1997, this scarf brooch is 4.6 cm in diameter and the dome measures 2 cm from brooch fitting to front.
