This lovely large sterling silver locket was hallmarked in Birmingham in 1976, and made by P&R Bushell, Regent Place in the city's historic Jewellery Quarter.

A larger sized round pendant, the locket is designed in the Victorian Style, being  elegantly decorated with ornate foliate engraving on the front. It is in good condition, with just a few very minor marks on the reverse- the back is high polished silver and bears a clear hallmark. The inner section is the original and is complete. The hinge works well and it closes easily.

The pendant has a total drop of 5 cm including the silver bale and it is 4 cm wide. It is presented on a brand new quality 68 cm (27 inch) rope chain with a bolt ring catch.

It offers a wonderful way to keep photos of your loved ones close to your heart- two round photos (35mm diameter) could be enclosed within.
