Imagine Birmingham in 1938; the city was celebrating the centenary of its Borough Charter with an impressive pageant, and was proud to be the industrial hub of the country.
This lovely bangle is attractively engraved with leaves and swirls on its front face, the back is high polished silver.
It has a strong safe catch, with a lovely satisfying "click' on closing, and a safety chain. It is in good condition, one very tiny dint on one edge.
It would make a perfect gift for anyone who loves her vintage!
It is overall oval in shape, its internal measurements are 6 cm by 5.3 cm, and it is 1.6 cm wide.
The bangle will be delivered in a Smithsonia gift box.
