A very attractive vintage silver bangle with 9 ct gold-plating and exquisite scroll and foliate engraving on the front side, being plain gold-plated on the back.

It bears the hallmark for Birmingham 1951 and was made by Henry Griffiths & Sons in the city's historic jewellery quarter.

A wonderful way to add a bit of touching history to your jewellery collection, it also has a pretty engraving " H H. to M.G. 15.5.55" on the inside. But there's still plenty of room to add you own mark to its story!

It has a strong safe catch with the addition of a safety chain. It is oval in shape, with a flat profile, and measures 6.2 cm by 5 cm and is 1.9 cm wide.  It weighs 35.9g

The engraved front face is in very good condition, the plain back has a couple of little dents, obviously worn and loved by " M.G."
