It has a wide profile, the central part of which has been finely engraved within the two decorative bands. The lovely engraving depicts pretty forget-me-not flowers and leaves.

It is hinged, and has a strong safe catch.
It is oval in shape, measuring 5.5 cm by 4.6cm (internal measurements) and is 3.1 cm wide. It is a smaller than average bracelet, suitable for some-one with a slender wrist. It weighs 35.8g.
The bangle is in good condition, its back showing a little more age than the decorative front. As was common at the time, there is no hallmark, but it has been successfully tested as silver.
The bangle will be delivered in a Smithsonia gift box
