Opal is the birthstone for October and is believed to be a symbol of hope, purity and truth.
This stone has been created by man, rather than nature, but contains the same elements that occur in the natural gemstone. They are much more durable and harder than the natural opals.
The pendant measures 1.4 cm wide and the total drop is 3.1 cm including the bail. It is supplied on a 45 cm snake chain with a lobster catch and a little heart charm at the end.
