This stone has been created by man, rather than nature, but contains the same elements that occur in the natural gemstone. They are much more durable and harder than the natural opals.
The pendant measures 1.7 cm wide and the total drop is 2.7 cm, including the silver bale. It is supplied on an 17 inch snake chain with a lobster catch.
Opal is the birthstone for October.
