Designed by contemporary jeweller Nicole Barr, these fine sterling silver earrings are created by using the ancient technique of enamelling to depict these bright, cheerful and exquisitely detailed daisy-like flowers.

The highly skilled art of vitreous enamelling involves applying powdered glass to the surface of the silver and fusing them by firing at very high temperatures, to create a smooth durable glossy finish. In these earrings the black at the centre contrasts beautifully with the lovely translucent yellow petals.

Black-Eyed Susan flowers are believed to symbolise encouragement and justice.

The earrings have a total drop of 2.6 cm including the silver hook, the flowers have a diameter of 1.4 cm. The sterling silver has been Rhodium Plated for easy care.
