This antique silver spoon is a little gem. Small, delicate, beautifully decorated and in wonderful condition. It was made by George William Adam of Hosier Lane, Smithfield, London, and hallmarked in 1851; the same year as he exhibited at the Great Exhibition which was the first International exhibition of its type. This gorgeous little spoon could well have been there!
A lovely gift for someone who likes things a little different - maybe for a Christening, Engagement or Anniversary.
The spoon is 8.7 cm long and 2.2 cm at the widest point. It is highly decorated with fine engraving, front and back, with a scalloped gilded bowl, all in exceptionally good condition.
