This antique silver spoon was hallmarked in London in 1869, George William Adams of Hosier Lane, Smithfield. This was during the reign of Queen Victoria, William Gladstone was Prime Minister and Sainsburys opened it's first store.
The spoon is in very good condition, was probably used as a sugar or jam spoon, and would be perfect to use as that again.
A lovely gift for someone who likes things a little different - maybe for a Christening, Engagement or Anniversary.
