This illustration is from Madeleine's Sketchbook series. With a few simple strokes she manages to capture the character and essence of the birds she draws. In this case, two very popular birds from our gardens, the cute blue tit and the noisy starling.

It is part of an official collectors edition of 195 and comes with a certificate of authenticity. It has been individually signed by the artist.

The image is 24cm x 23cm, mounted it is 40cm x 43cm 

It is a mounted giclee print on 310 gsm archival fine art paper, and presented in a double bevelled conservation mount.

Madeleine studied at the Courtauld Institute of Art, University of London.  She went on to study fashion design before graduating from Camberwell College of Art and Design, London in Fine Art and Graphic Design.  Madeleine paints, illustrates, prints, writes, designs, licenses and exhibits her work around the world. She is particularly well known for her beautiful illustrations of birds.
