A very fine example of the work of Bryony Burn, this majestic large blue vase would make an impact in any contemporary interior with its individual and distinctive style.
Since graduating from Manchester in 1996, Bryony has combined her creative studio practice with teaching ceramics, and shows in various exhibitions and galleries throughout the UK.
Bryony uses slab-building techniques to create bold forms and then hand decorates with layers of pattern using coloured slips and glazes. Every piece Bryony makes is individual and unique. This tall vase has a striking spot design and a rich blue and white colour palette.
The piece is 53 cm tal, 14 cm wide, and 8 cm deep.It is signed on the bottom.
The vase is glazed on the inside but due to its height would be better suited to being used as a decorative piece rather than for holding flowers
