Designed by Keith Sherwin who was born in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, the home of the Potteries. He trained as a ceramic artist, with world renowned company, Royal Doulton. He is a self taught wildlife sculptor whose aim is to observe nature and its beauty, to capture one moment in time and share it via his work.
The hedgehog is made from solid foundry bronze, with a hand finished patina, giving subtle colours, The flower has been delicately hand painted with artist's oils and sealed with a protective varnish.
It is a limited edition sculpture - one of 175.
It stands 12.5 cm tall and is 7 cm wide and weighs approximately 325g.
Each piece comes beautifully boxed with a certificate of authenticity. The certificate also includes information about the artist and the edition number .
