Hallmarked in Birmingham in 1924 by Hassett & Harper of Regent Place, they have a stylish engine turned pattern engraved around the whole ring, except for the blank cartouches at the front, and have an interesting wavy edge.
One hundred years old, they were hallmarked the same year as the first hourly Greenwich Time Signal from Royal Greenwich Observatory was broadcast.
