This vesta dates back to 1908, during the reign of Edward VII, the yeat that the foundation stone of the Royal Liver Building in Liverpool was laid and Bisto Gravy powder was first marketed.

Hallmarked in Birmingham in 1908 by T Heatley, it is in good condition for something well over one hundred years old, just a small dink in the top.  A lovely gift as an unusual birthday present, a silver anniversary present or a gift for someone with an interest in history.

It measures 4 cm tall, is 3 cm at it's widest point. It is beautifully engraved in a very stylish, pretty pattern.
