This attractive antique silver brooch was hallmarked in Birmingham in 1834. Styles may have changed but it is easy to appreciate how pretty this one is. It has a central Fleur de Lys design which can symbolise loyalty and fidelity.

In really good condition for such an old lady, it would be a lovely meaningful gift to a vintage silver lover.

In 1834, during the reign of William IV, Birmingham Town Hall was opened.

The brooch is 4.4 cm long and 2.7 cm deep.

Will be delivered in a Smithsonia gift box.
