Designed by contemporary jeweller Nicole Barr, these fine sterling silver earrings incorporate the ancient technique of enamelling with an intriguing diamond shaped twist, in a timeless elegance.

The highly skilled art of vitreous enamelling involves applying powdered glass to the surface of the silver and fusing them by firing at very high temperatures, to create a smooth durable glossy finish. In these earrings the colour of the enamel goes from blues to pinks to oranges to represent the glorious light display of a spectacular sunset.

The enamel is applied to both sides of the twist so that its beautiful colours can be seen from all angles, making the earrings perfect for a special 'hair-up' occasion.

The earrings have a total drop of 4 cm, including the silver hook, and are 0.7 cm at the widest point. The sterling silver has been Rhodium Plated for easy care.
