Designed by jeweller Nicole Barr, these fine sterling silver earrings are created by using the ancient technique of enamelling in a contemporary design to celebrate the power and majesty of the ocean wave.

The highly skilled art of vitreous enamelling involves applying powdered glass to the surface of the silver and fusing them by firing at very high temperatures, to create a smooth durable glossy finish.

In these earrings, the different hues of beautiful blues of the enamel and the high polish of the silver capture perfectly the glittering light of the ocean in motion. They would make the perfect gift to symbolise faith in the power of nature, hope and continuity.

The earrings have a total drop of 2.7 cm including the silver hook, the waves have a diameter of 1.5 cm. The sterling silver has been Rhodium Plated for easy care.
