Garnet is such a deep, warm colour and as well as being the birthstone for January it is also the stone gift for a second Wedding Anniversary. Its name derives from a latin word meaning 'seedlike' in reference to a pomegranate seed.
The pendant measures 1.1 cm long including the bale, and is 0.7 cm wide. It will be presented on a quality fine silver trace chain which can be worn at either 41 cm (16 inch) or 46 cm (18 inch) to suit.
