Hallmarked in Birmingham in 1920 by Frank Brooks of Regent Place in the heart of the historic Jewellery Quarter. It is in excellent condition, with very attractive and more unusual engraving front and back. There are also finely engraved initials (WM) on the fan-like shaped cartouche on the front., although these could easily read as part of the engraved design. The hinged lid opens and closes easily and it has nice clear hallmarks inside.
It would make a lovely gift as an unusual birthday present, a silver anniversary present or a gift for someone with an interest in history.
It measures 4.3 cm tall, and 2.8 cm wide and 1 cm deep. It weighs 15.3 g.
