This stylish brooch was made circa 1994 in Glasgow and hallmarked in Edinburgh. The design was inspired by the work of Arts and Crafts designer and architect Charles Rennie Mackintosh, particularly famous for The Glasgow School of Art. The brooch is a particularly fine example of the celebration of his work elegantly combining natural flower and leaf motifs with strongly geometric elements.

A lovely gift for any fan of the style of the Arts and Crafts movement, the brooch would grace any coat or jacket.

This brooch was made by 'Carrick Jewellery'.  It is in mint condition and measures 4.6 cm tall and 2.4 cm wide with a good locking catch on the back.
