This fine and stunning sterling silver pendant, designed by contemporary jeweller Nicole Barr, incorporates the ancient art of enamelling with an intriguing organic design framing a beautiful faceted Amethyst.

The highly skilled art of vitreous enamelling involves applying powdered glass to the surface of the silver and fusing them by firing at very high temperatures to create a smooth durable glossy finish. The colours of the enamels in this pendant complement the exquisite gemstone with their lovely lilac and vibrant turquoise hues.

The pendant has a total drop of 2.2 cm and is 1.8 cm wide. The sterling silver is Rhodium Plated to keep it super shiny and bright.

Amethyst is the birthstone for February, and is believed to be a protective stone associated with calmness, clarity and spirituality.

It is presented on a quality 52.5 cm sterling silver rolo chain with an ingenious silicon- lined sliding ball to make it fully adjustable, so it may be worn at any shorter length.
