You might recognise Will - he has appeared on a few television shows including 'Inside the Factory' and with Kirstie Allsop in ' Homemade Home' and 'Homemade Christmas' when he made some festive Christmas baubles like the ones we stock in December. Talking about baubles, Will's latest order is from his favourite car makers, Tesla, who have just announced that all new cyber trucks will be delivered with a complimentary set of his baubles!
He set up Shakspeare Glass over 25 years ago and has been producing amazing pieces since. It is said some pieces become real favourites and will then sit on his work bench as he can't bear to let them go, until I believe, he has too much stuff on his bench and releases them with sorrow!
Despite the famous name, Will Shakspeare is based in Somerset, not Stratford on Avon! The landscape of the Somerset levels has been a great inspiration for his work. The sky and landscape, the water, reeds and willows, even a local kingfisher, have all been represented in his work.
