What a glamorous old lady!

This beautiful 8 sided antique silver napkin ring was hallmarked in Birmingham in 1902 by Matthew john Jessop.  The same year as Edward VII was crowned and 'Land of Hope and Glory' premiered in London.

There are two designs which alternate around the eight sides, one side has some initials engraved on it, but they are so ornate I am not entirely sure what they are !

Just imagine the dinner parties it has been present at in its time.....

A lovely gift for someone who likes things a little different - maybe for  a Christening, Engagement or Anniversary.

It is octagonal in shape with a 4.5 cm diameter and is 2.7 cm deep and weighs 26.4g.
