Mexican Hand Painted Ceramic Skull.

The Day of The Dead is a festival celebrated in Mexico around the same time as our Halloween. It is a mixture of Spanish Catholic and native Aztec traditions and beliefs where the skull is a positive symbol of both death and rebirth.

These hand painted and decorated skulls are a popular item in Mexico - Verity and Mike found them on a recent trip there -  and we have specially imported them to introduce them to you.....

They measure approximately 4cm tall, 3cm wide and 5.5cm long

(The designs may vary slightly, but the colours are the same)
