An attractive vintage sterling silver bangle for those that like slightly chunkier jewellery and have a larger wrist, it is particularly generous in its fit. This stylish bangle was hallmarked in Birmingham in 1963 by RPH of Tenby Street.
1963 - the year the popular series Doctor Who was launched, the great train robbery took place and the Profumo affair hit government.
It has a hinged opening with a strong safe catch and a safety chain. Both the front and back are prettily engraved with swirls and a fleur de lys design.
What a perfect present for someone born in that year, or anyone who loves vintage silver.
It is oval in shape, measuring 7.5 cm by 6.6 cm and is 2.2 cm wide and in lovely condition.
