This is a stunner! A lovely heavy vintage sterling silver bangle for those who like chunkier jewellery. This stylish bangle was hallmarked in Birmingham in 1974 by Rigby and Wilson.
It has a very clever, very secure closing mechanism , which was patented, as shown on the inside of the bangle. The back of the bangle is plain high polished silver in good condition, the front is delicately engraved with swirls and a fleur de lys design which continues past the half way point.
What a perfect present for someone born in that year, or anyone who loves vintage silver.
It is oval in shape and opens out very wide. The inner measurements are 6 cm by 5.6 cm and it is 1.8 cm wide. It weighs 45.9g.
