An attractive vintage sterling silver bangle for those that like slightly chunkier jewellery. This stylish bangle was hallmarked in Birmingham in 1963.
1963 - the year the popular series Doctor Who was launched, the great train robbery took place and the Profumo affair hit government.
It has a hinged opening with a strong safe catch and a safety chain. The back of the bangle is plain high polished silver in good condition, the front is prettily engraved with swirls and a fleur de lys design.
What a perfect present for someone born in that year, or anyone who loves vintage silver.
It is oval in shape, measuring 6 cm by 5.7 cm and is 2.5 cm wide It weighs 37.1g.
