Bronze Hare 'Moonlight' by Michael Simpson

You can almost see this hare sitting in the moonlight sniffing the air for danger. It is a wonderful depiction of these handsome animals, created by artist Michael Simpson.

Michael studied in Staffordshire and was inspired by the traditions of Stoke on Trent. As a result of this he works in clay for his initial modelling, unlike most bronze artists who use wax.

The hare is made from solid foundry bronze, with a hand finished patina.

It is a limited edition sculpture - one of 95.

She stands 14cm tall and measures 11cm wide from the tip of her tail to the end of her ear. Approximately 1.1kg heavy

Each piece comes beautifully boxed with a certificate of authenticity. The certificate also includes information about the artist and the edition number .
