It was hallmarked the same year as George V succeeded to the British throne, and Dr Crippen was found guilty of murder and sentenced to death.
This thimble is prettily decorated with a repeated floral design and is in good condition with a lovely hallmark. It has obviously treasured for many years. A lovely gift for a keen needle-person, or a collector of exquisite small objects.
It measures 2.1 cm tall, with an inner diameter of 1.7 cm.
It has been cleaned in a jewellers ultasonic bath to bring out the best of this mini work of art.
