1921, the year Charlie Chaplin visited London and was met by thousands of fans, King George V opened Southwark Bridge in London, there was a heatwave with temperatures in the 90s in some parts of South-East England, and a drought with no rain for 100 days.
It is in good condition with a lovely hallmark, treasured by someone for many years. A lovely gift for a keen needle-person, or a lover of exquisite small objects.
It measures 2.2 cm tall, with an inner diameter of 1.6 cm.
It has been cleaned in a jewellers ultasonic bath to bring out the best of this mini work of art.
