This image is taken from Esio Trot, Roald Dahl's lovely story of a very shy man and a very kind woman, and a small tortoise called Alfie who brings them together. The quote under the image says..

" 'Why, Mr Hoppy!..Of course I'll marry you!' 'It's all due to Alfie, Mrs Silver said, slightly breathless. 'Good old Alfie', Mr Hoppy said. 'We'll keep him forever.' "

It is part of an official collectors edition of 595, number 147, and comes with a certificate of authenticity. 

The image is 21cm x 26cm, mounted and framed it is 42.5cm x 47cm.

It is a mounted giclee print on 310 gsm archival fine art paper, and presented in a double bevelled conservation mount. The frame is cream washed sustainable wood, finished with glass and measures 3.6cm wide and is 2.2cm deep.
