What an unusual and thoughtful present this would make for a Wedding, Engagement, Anniversary or New Home gift.
In excellent condition, it was hallmarked in 1921 in Chester by Charles Horner. The napkin ring is finely engraved with a floral decoration, we think Forget Me Nots, and leaves and has a clear cartouche for engraving if desired.
1921 was quite a year - Charlie Chaplin visited London and was met by thousands of fans, King George V opened Southwark Bridge in London, there was a heatwave with temperatures in the 90s in some parts of South-East England, and a drought with no rain for 100 days.
