Lovely weather for ducks......

It's the beginning of May and still the April showers persist, be it rain, hail or snow. It's lovely weather for ducks they say, and the ones we have in the shop are really prepared, wearing their wellies !
Here we have a little family, Mabel, Richard and daughter, Honey, ready to splash in the puddles.
Zoe and Beatrice might wait until its a bit dryer.
But Ella has been out and got drenched !
Ella's big brother Nigel is too grown up to play in the wet - he works with a brigade of chefs in a local kitchen......
Each duck is hand carved and painted , made from Bamboo root, and they really do all have their own names and characters !
